GLCO Presents new Family Holiday Pops Concert

The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) introduces a new holiday tradition – Family Holiday Pops – on Saturday December 13^th at 3 PM at the Great Lakes Center of the Arts. Celebrate the season with beloved carols, festive sing-alongs and holiday favorites like The Grinch, Polar Express, Nutcracker Suite selections, and Sleigh Ride.  The orchestra will be joined by Noteable Chamber Choir and dancers from the CTAC Ballet.

This concert is a perfect way for generations of family members to connect and create new memories together through the familiar tunes of the season.

Join us on Thursday, December 11th and Friday, December 12th for a cherished 23-year community holiday tradition as the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) presents Handel’s masterpiece, Messiah. The performance will be at 7 p.m. on both nights at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, 800 Bay Harbor Dr., Petoskey.

Set in the warm glow of candlelight, this beloved performance, directed by GLCO Conductor and Music Director Maestro Libor Ondras, offers a timeless message of hope, joy, and holiday spirit.  The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra Chorus led by Director André Strydom, will be joined by guest soloists Karen Beacom (Soprano), Martina Portychova (Alto), Eric Boylan (Tenor), and Jason Coffey (Baritone).
