Every place has a story. And with it, an authentic beginning. The Petoskey Wine Region is made up of 14 unique wineries, located along the Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan coastal region. They’re part of a larger Tip of the Mitt American Viticultural Area (AVA) – which encompasses 2,760-square miles throughout Alpena, Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Presque Isle counties in the northern Lower Peninsula.
The grapes and wines that make up the Petoskey Wine Region are as distinct as those from France and Europe. Rich, robust grapes that thrive in cold temperatures to produce deep, inviting flavors that win acclaim along with national and international awards.
For the wineries that make up the Region, each started with a family’s passion to create one-of-a-kind tastes and deliver unique experiences. All which reflects their growing craftsmanship and their genuine Midwest hospitality.

We are so excited about the upcoming Charlevoix and East Jordan Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and Best in Taste event scheduled for March 18th, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Castle Farms. this is the first ever Business Expo for the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce and we are delighted to partner with the Charlevoix Chamber to showcase our businesses, organizations, events and restaurants. We are anticipating attendance of 1000 people with the added list of vendors and communities involved. there will be a "Vendor to Vendor" hour from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM for exhibitors to meet and network prior to the expo opening to the general public at 4:00 PM. The "Best In Taste" will certainly offer some delicious samples from our restaurants, caterers and agricultural members.
