FREE LOCAL APPRECIATION DAY AT CASTLE FARMS

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th, explore Castle Farms for free!  All residents with a valid driver’s license from Charlevoix, Emmet, Antrim, Otsego, or Cheboygan County can tour for free.  Snowbirds – be sure to bring in a piece of mail addressed to you in one of the listed counties.  For all others 3 years of age and older this day, admission is $5, and our annual membership passes will be on sale for $10 per person this day too!

There will be plenty to see and do!  Enjoy tram rides throughout the day, or stop by 1918 Cellars Tasting Room for a glass of wine or some lunch to refresh.

WINE DOWN WEDNESDAY FEATURING TOM ZIPP

Enjoy a free evening of entertainment featuring Tom Zipp.  Relax in the magical environment of Castle Farms’ Queen’s Courtyard.  Wine, cider, wraps, and charcuterie boards are available for purchase from 1918 Cellars and Gourmet Grab & Go.  In the case of inclement weather, performers will move under the Pavilion or inside.

Enjoy a free evening of entertainment featuring Lou Thumser.  Relax in the magical environment of Castle Farms’ Queen’s Courtyard.  Wine, cider, wraps, and charcuterie boards are available for purchase from 1918 Cellars and Gourmet Grab & Go.  In the case of inclement weather, performers will move under the Pavilion or inside.

FAIRY/DRAGON/GNOME GARDEN MAKE & TAKE

Create your very own miniature garden to lure in fairies, dragons, and garden gnomes.

Our Fairy Garden Classes include soil and 1 miniature plant to get you started. Our gardener will begin with a brief history of how miniature gardens began and move on to instructing the class on the key aspects of creating a fairy garden. Perfect for all ages! Bring your own container or purchase one with your ticket. Hurry- a limited number are available! Fairy homes, decor, and accessories are available for purchase in the Gift Shop.

Enjoy a free evening of entertainment featuring Rhett and John.  Relax in the magical environment of Castle Farms’ Queen’s Courtyard.  Wine, cider, wraps, and charcuterie boards are available for purchase from 1918 Cellars and Gourmet Grab & Go.  In the case of inclement weather, performers will move under the Pavilion or inside.

COFFEE AT THE CASTLE

Enjoy a leisurely guided tour of Castle Farms while waking up with a fresh hot cup of David Sargent’s gourmet Coffee! After the guided tour, guests will receive an 8oz bag of freshly ground coffee to take home, along with wonderful memories and photos of your visit.

Tickets are $40 per person and include 1 cup of coffee, 1 8oz bag of coffee to take home, and a guided tour of Castle Farms. The event will begin at 10am and finish around 12:30pm. Space is limited.

PICNIC LUNCH & GUIDED TOUR OF CASTLE FARMS

The event begins at 10am, where guests will view a historical video, take a tram ride (weather permitting), and enjoy a guided tour of Castle Farms. After the tour you will enjoy a boxed picnic lunch to enjoy in our rose pavilion or another garden of your choosing. We anticipate the event to be finished around 12:30.
