Family fun for all to enjoy! – Great live music, carnival, food trucks, block party, parades, kids events and more. Join us in downtown East Jordan for a fabulous family festival.

Jubilee of Trees for 501C3’s

Everyone is welcome to celebrate the holidays at the Jubilee of Trees for 501C3’s. The Boathouse will be bright with decorated Christmas Trees that have been decorated and donated by local groups, clubs, churches, individuals and businesses. The trees will be bid on via Silent Auction with the winning bidder choosing which Chamber Members 501C3 will receive their donation. This event will also be combined with the Holiday Business After Hours sponsored by EJ. Hors d’oeuvers, networking and fun for all.

Twinkle Light Dinner

HE’S MAKING A LIST AND CHECKING IT TWICE…

But you’re invited to join us whether you’re naughty or nice!

Join us for a Castle Farms Twinkle Light Dinner in style with friends, family, or someone new! Enjoy an enchanting evening listening to classic Christmas carols by musicians Rhett and John Live. Begin the evening with a short historical video about Castle Farms before heading to 1918 Cellars for a magical evening. Charcuterie boards will be waiting on your table to enjoy with a complimentary glass of Birch Lake White, Serenity Red, or Apple Cinnamon Hard Cider. Rhett and John will perform holiday music throughout the evening as you enjoy a three-course meal catered by Chef Liam Racine of 1918 Cellars.

NEW THIS YEAR, tickets will also include a complimentary 2024 membership for self-guided tours AND a special gift.
If purchasing tickets separately, ensure your “Party Name” is the same so we can seat you together. Seating is limited, but we will do our best to keep all groups together.

Tickets are $60 per person and include one glass of selected wines or cider from 1918 Cellars, 2024 Membership, and a special gift! All ticket sales are final. A minimum of 10 tickets must be sold for the event. Tickets will only be refunded if the event is canceled due to lack of participation.

The event begins at 6 pm and is anticipated to conclude at 8 pm.

Santa’s Workshop

It’s time to build and craft with Santa in his Workshop at Castle Farms! Our Santa’s Workshop sessions will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10, 2023 at pre-scheduled times throughout the day.  Participate in an age-appropriate craft (chosen at time of online registration), enjoy hot cocoa and a treat. Chat with Santa himself and get a special gift.  Professional photos with Santa are also included and will be available for download after the event!

Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 PM EST on December 7, 2023. Each child ticket includes 2 adults. You may purchase extra adult tickets for $5 each.

Jubilee of Trees for 501 C3’s & Holiday Business After Hours

Join us at The Boathouse on Lake Charlevoix (204 Water Street, East Jordan)  for the 2023 Jubilee of Trees for 501 C3’s and the Holiday Business After Hours event proudly sponsored by EJ. 25 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees and 5 Baskets will be on display and part of a silent auction. As a winning bidder, you will be allowed to choose the Chamber Member 501 C3 that you would like your donation to go to. The Holiday Business After Hours is open to everyone and it’s a great time to meet, network and learn about our local businesses, their owners/managers and kick-off the holiday season. Entry to the event will be by cash donations that will be divided between our local food pantries. Care and Share of East Jordan and The Good Samarian of Ellsworth.

GLCO presents Echoes from the Musikverein concert

Join the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra for “Echoes from the Musikverein: Music from Vienna’s Golden Concert Hall” on Saturday, November 4th at 7 PM at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor, Petoskey.  The GLCO, conducted by Maestro Libor Ondras, brings to life masterpieces by Mozart, Schubert, and Haydn in this celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Vienna. The concert features guest piano soloist Michael Barrett in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 19. In addition, 14-year-old violinist Eeva Rintala of Boyne City and winner of GLCO’s 2023 Charles F. Davis Young Artist Competition, will be performing Beethoven’s Romance No. 2 with the orchestra.  Tickets are available at www.glcorchestra.org/concerts. Complimentary tickets are available for veterans, active service members and students 18 and under by calling 231-487-0010.
