East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Meeting/Dinner/Auction/Awards at The Boathouse on Lake Charlevoix. Dinner will be catered by Grey Gables Catering. Awards and Citizen of the Year will be announced.

Friends of the Jordan Watershed Center
Join Little Traverse Conservancy and Friends of the Jordan River Watershed Center along with other partners who brought the Don & Eileen Klein Nature Trail to reality this past summer. Light refreshments will be offered and the solar lanterns will lure you to explore the trail as darkness falls. You can either walk the trail by yourself or with a local guide leaving on the half hour.
Join the Northern Michigan Chorale, a choir group for adults, college and high school students. No auditions required. Rehearsals for our spring concert are Mondays 7 – 9 PM starting January 20th at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 1450 E. Mitchell Rd. in Petoskey. New members come early to register. Spring concert is at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts May 3rd and 4th, featuring music from Broadway, cinema, pop classics and more. Visit nmchorale.org for more info
Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) presents free Sunday Series Recital
A chamber quartet and trio will be featured in a recital at 4 PM Sunday January 12th at the First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey, located at 501 E. Mitchell St. This performance, free of charge, is part of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra’s Sunday Series of small orchestra ensembles in neighborhood venues across Charlevoix and Emmet counties.
A clarinet quartet will be led by Jane Bennett-Winchester. The recital also includes a trio with Lynn Hansen (oboe), Brian Carter (horn), and Cheryl Staats (piano).
The Sunday Series recitals are made possible through the generous support of Carolyn Klender.

Join us to meet and get a photo with Santa Claus, enjoy a winter scavenger hunt, decorate cookies, write letters to the North Pole, explore our campus, and indulge in s’mores and hot cocoa around a cozy campfire.
Dress for the weather! This event has several outdoor components.
This event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome. No registration is required. No pets, alcohol, or smoking allowed at this event.
