5k: This is a premiere event that will have professional timing systems for our runners. You will have fun starting off in Boswell Stadium at East Jordan High School and winding through the woods around the area.
1 Mile: Fun fun fun run! Kids and adults will have fun with this 1 mile run. As you travel throughout the course at Bosewell stadium you will have challenges along the way. For example, when you get to the ducky pool you will have to pull a duck and see what number it has on the bottom. That number will determine how many jumping jacks you have to do. Our Yeti and crew of local mascots will be on the track helping the runners along the way. This is a great event for families and friends. Race against your loved ones or against the local beloved mascots!
WHY A YETI!
Somewhere in all of us there is the kind of person that gets up and runs before work. There is the person that finishes a good book instead reading more facebook posts from people we hardly know. We are all, somewhere inside, the person that walks boldly towards our dreams. Not without fear, but without hesitation.
It seems elusive. Like a Yeti in the woods, it sounds like a myth. On our worst days we think it’s impossible. Nothing is impossible.
Simply head in the direction of its last known location. Do not scour the woods or look to the horizon.
Instead, look to your heart. It’s in us all.
