“The mission of the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce is to enhance and support our membership, maintain partnerships with city, schools and organizations, promote our community’s natural and economic resources and act as an advocate for economic promotion and expansion”

- Organize Ribbon Cuttings for new businesses

- Business related seminars, workshops
- Sponsor “Meet the Candidates” forum; provide information on local issues and candidates. (Do not endorse candidates/issues, however, promote the voting privilege, encourage voter participation.)
- Citizen of the Year, President’s Award, Ambassador of the Year Award
- Publications (25,000 copies alone of the Business and Visitors Guide, updated yearly)
- Networking opportunities via Business After Hours, Annual Meeting, Businesses, Special Committees, etc.

Chamber Board of Directors meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 4:45pm, at the Charlevoix State Bank conference room.
All Chamber members are invited to attend. Anyone interested in being on the meeting agenda should contact the Executive Director Mary H. Faculak two weeks prior to the meeting.
