Fall Colors are the Best In East Jordan!
The 2017 fall color tour season will soon be upon us! Make plans to visit the East Jordan area for the state’s most beautiful color and viewing sites! The spectacular Jordan Valley with many breathtaking overlooks, hiking trails, along with the spectacular 28 mile stretch on C-48 the Breezeway will satisfy anyone’s appetite for vibrant colors of red, orange, rust and green! There are many trail route maps and available at the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce Office.
The 9th Annual Breezeway Fall Color Tour Saturday’s will continue on September 30 and October 7 and 14. Leaf Peepers are encouraged to visit Royal Farms in Atwood between 10:00 AM and Noon to pick up their “goodie bags” of area business promotions, suggested places of interest, nature preserves and a “Trip Tip Sheet”. Proceed at your own pace stopping at farms, shops, restaurants and corn mazes, etc. and end up at Boyne Mt. in Boyne Falls for a chair-lift ride to the top of one of the mountains for an amazing view of Boyne Valley colors. Memorable for sure!
The 3rd Annual East Jordan Fall Fest will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the East Jordan Tourist Park. The festival will include a beer tent, food trucks, live music by “Full Circle”, a softball tournament, hay art, hay rides, reduced camping rates and much more. This is a family friendly event with something for everyone.
