Schulz Orthodontics small.png

Dr. Scott Schulz and our orthodontics team appreciate the opportunity to provide you and your family with state-of-the-art orthodontic care. With a customized treatment approach to each individual patient utilizing a variety of techniques, we are able to treat each patiently, effectively, and efficiently. We seek to exceed our patients’ aesthetic goals and maximize their oral health.

Advanced Technology

As a totally digital office, we use low-dose digital X-rays and chairside monitors for patient images and communication. Damon Braces, Invisalign®, and Spark aligner systems allow us to use digital technology for precise bracket placement and custom aligner treatment, leading to amazing smiles!

Our team is dedicated to getting everything right—the first time! Orthodontics is very technical, but we try to make it look easy. We always look for ways to make the process more comfortable and better for our patients. This means constantly updating our education and training and implementing new technology into the office.

Creating smiles in more ways than one!

We want to deliver the best care for our patients and we want to make it fun! We have seasonal contests throughout the year with fun prizes and drawings. We reward patients for being great with our Schulz Ortho Rewards program. We reward patients who have good hygiene and follow the orthodontic instructions with Schulz Tokens which can be traded in for gift cards to fun places. You will also see the team dressing up for various occasions throughout the year to keep you smiling!

Way of Jen small.png

jen

Jennifer Way is a lifelong, self-taught visual artist working primarily in acrylic abstract paintings and natural found sculpture. A great loss led to a reimagining of her life. A season of bravery and new avenues of creativity brought her back to live in her native, northern Michigan to pursue art.

Way’s art is visual poetry. Her work centers around the intersection of love, faith, nature, and art, marking life milestones, joyful celebrations and overcoming hardship. It documents the inner work of our lives—the aspects we can and cannot control. This balance is often reflected in her mediums and how she uses them. The rhythm of the seasons, lake and land, sunrises and sunsets are deeply embedded in her work.

Way curates entire sensory experiences around her collections to cultivate an even deeper connection with her collectors. Each collection includes some version of a signature scent, a playlist, a talisman, and a taste.

Way’s art can be found in private collections in Nashville, New York, Houston, and other cities across the country. She partners with galleries, curators, interior designers, and those who understand how our surroundings mark and reflect our internal journey.

petoskey wine.png

Every place has a story. And with it, an authentic beginning. The Petoskey Wine Region is made up of 14 unique wineries, located along the Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan coastal region. They’re part of a larger Tip of the Mitt American Viticultural Area (AVA) – which encompasses 2,760-square miles throughout Alpena, Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Presque Isle counties in the northern Lower Peninsula.
The grapes and wines that make up the Petoskey Wine Region are as distinct as those from France and Europe. Rich, robust grapes that thrive in cold temperatures to produce deep, inviting flavors that win acclaim along with national and international awards.
For the wineries that make up the Region, each started with a family’s passion to create one-of-a-kind tastes and deliver unique experiences. All which reflects their growing craftsmanship and their genuine Midwest hospitality.
If you are planning a day trip or weekend excursion, the Petoskey Wine Region offers an excellent blend of rustic to trendy tasting rooms and vineyards that rival the wine trails of Napa Valley.
