petoskey wine.png

Every place has a story. And with it, an authentic beginning. The Petoskey Wine Region is made up of 14 unique wineries, located along the Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan coastal region. They’re part of a larger Tip of the Mitt American Viticultural Area (AVA) – which encompasses 2,760-square miles throughout Alpena, Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Presque Isle counties in the northern Lower Peninsula.
The grapes and wines that make up the Petoskey Wine Region are as distinct as those from France and Europe. Rich, robust grapes that thrive in cold temperatures to produce deep, inviting flavors that win acclaim along with national and international awards.
For the wineries that make up the Region, each started with a family’s passion to create one-of-a-kind tastes and deliver unique experiences. All which reflects their growing craftsmanship and their genuine Midwest hospitality.
If you are planning a day trip or weekend excursion, the Petoskey Wine Region offers an excellent blend of rustic to trendy tasting rooms and vineyards that rival the wine trails of Napa Valley.

“Sail Charlevoix (Lake Charlevoix Mariners, Inc.) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable educational organization, dedicated to supporting the development and access to youth and adult sailing opportunities for our community. Since 1985, we have served hundreds of students every year, many of whom wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to access Lake Charlevoix without our affordable programs and two, Boyne City and Charlevoix locations. We aim to offer students of all levels, a learn-to-sail (or race) program, with an on-the-water and classroom approach, while providing a safe, informative, and hands-on experience for all.”
