Musicians will draw from a collection of songs\, which may include “Fan Fair Warning” by Margaret Weait; “The London Waits” by Christopher Weait; “The London Trio #1 in C Major” by Franz Joseph Haydn (arranged by Alan Hawkins); “Adagio in G Major\, K. 580a” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; “Twinkle Variations” by Robert Stephenson and more. \nThe Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is a nonprofit professional orchestra headquartered at 219 E. DESCRIPTION:The Cummings String Quartet from the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) will perform a free concert on Sunday\, Feb. 20\, at 4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church\, 501 E. Mitchell Street\, Petoskey. \nThe public concert is part of GLCO’s Sunday Series\, which features small orchestra ensembles performing free concerts in churches around Northern Michigan. \nThe Cummings String Quartet features David Reimer\, first violin; Elizabeth Bert\, cello; Trisha Berquist\, viola; and Iuliia Fetysenko\, second violin. \nThe ensemble will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s String Quartet No. 17 in B-flat major\, K. 458\, nicknamed “The Hunt\,” and Dvořák’s String Quartet No. 12 in F major\, Op. 96 “American.” \nThe concert will begin at 4 p.m. No tickets or registration are needed for this free\, public concert.
