Photographs\, engaging interactives\, objects\, videos\, and augmented reality bring a multilayered experience to reveal the leaders\, challenges\, successes\, and future of innovation in each town. \n  \nThe Smithsonian exhibit is free to everyone. Visitors can enjoy the rest of Raven Hill Discovery Center with an entrance fee of $10\, which includes a special viewing of their newest exploratory section on “Innovation or Invention?” In this section\, you’ll get inspiration for bringing inventions to life by learning about what goes on inside a patent office.

SUMMARY:GLCO's Children's Library Music Program
DESCRIPTION:Petoskey District Library and Charlevoix Public Library are hosting “Little Waves\,” a young children’s music program. Free and open to the public and sponsored by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO)\, the program is designed to introduce young children (ages 4 – 10) and their families to music in an entertaining setting. Each drop-in event takes place at 10:30 am in Petoskey and 1 pm in Charlevoix. The theme for this year is “Musical Adventures.” Each session features a multimedia story\, an opportunity to hear one or more GLCO musicians demonstrate and explain how their instruments work\, and fun music-related activities for kids. The next event is Sat. DESCRIPTION:The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) will present The Cummings Quartet on Sunday October 15th at 4 PM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Petoskey. The public recital is part of GLCO’s Sunday Series\, which features small orchestra ensembles performing free concerts in churches around Northern Michigan. \nThe Cummings Quartet is a northern Michigan-based ensemble of professionals who perform with the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra and the Traverse Symphony Orchestra\, and is named after the benefactors of the Dorothy Gerber Strings Program for area youth.  The quartet serves as teachers and artistic representatives of the program\, and includes Dr. David Reimer\, violin; Rodrigo Quintana\, violin; Dr. Benjamin Wu\, viola; and Elizabeth Bert\, cello. Featured works are Quartet No. 8 by Shostakovich and Quartet in F\, Op. 59\, #1 by Beethoven (Razumovsky). \nEmmanuel Episcopal Church is located at 1020 E.
