DESCRIPTION:Petoskey District Library and Charlevoix Public Library are hosting “Little Waves\,” a young children’s music program. Free and open to the public and sponsored by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO)\, the program is designed to introduce young children (ages 4 – 10) and their families to music in an entertaining setting. Each drop-in event takes place at 10:30 am in Petoskey and 1 pm in Charlevoix. DESCRIPTION:Charlevoix Public Library is hosting “Little Waves\,” a young children’s music program.  Free and open to the public and sponsored by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO)\, the program is designed to introduce young children (ages 4 – 10) and their families to music in an entertaining setting.  Each drop-in event takes place at 1 pm in Charlevoix and 10:30 am in Petoskey.  The theme for 2022/2023 is “Musical Adventures.” Each session features a multimedia story\, an opportunity to hear one or more GLCO musicians demonstrate and explain how their instruments work\, and fun music-related activities for kids.
