DESCRIPTION:Charlevoix Public Library and Petoskey District Library are hosting “Little Waves\,” a young children’s music program.  Free and open to the public and sponsored by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO)\, the program is designed to introduce young children (ages 3 – 10) and their families to music in an entertaining setting.  The program takes place on Saturdays at 10:30 am in Petoskey and 1 pm in Charlevoix.  Each unique event features a multimedia story\, an opportunity to hear one or more GLCO musicians demonstrate and explain how their instruments work\, and fun music-related activities for kids. DESCRIPTION:Petoskey District Library and Charlevoix Public Library are hosting “Little Waves\,” a young children’s music program. Free and open to the public and sponsored by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO)\, the program is designed to introduce young children (ages 4 – 10) and their families to music in an entertaining setting. Each drop-in event takes place at 10:30 am in Petoskey and 1 pm in Charlevoix. The theme for this year is “Musical Adventures.” Each session features a multimedia story\, an opportunity to hear one or more GLCO musicians demonstrate and explain how their instruments work\, and fun music-related activities for kids. The next event is Sat.
