A Launch Celebration will be held on Friday\, June 28 from 4-6pm for new members and potential members who want to meet the board of directors and learn more about Impact100 Little Traverse Bay.  Impact100’s global founder\, Wendy Steele\, will be at the Launch Celebration to give the keynote speech and sign her 2023 book\, Invitation to Impact: Lighting the Path to Community Transformation. \nThe Impact100 model awards high-impact\, sustainable grants.  Members pool their $1\,000 annual dues and award $100\,000 grant(s) to area nonprofits in five Focus Areas: Arts & Culture\, Education\, Family\, Health & Wellness\, and Environment.  Founding membership closes December 31.  In October\, workshops for nonprofits will be held in Charlevoix and Petoskey. DESCRIPTION:Native Plant Identification Community Paddle – St. Clair Lake-Six Mile Lake Natural Area – Wednesday\, July 24 | 6:00 – 7:30 PM\nPaddle Antrim hosts community paddles in in various locations out on the water trail including Ellsworth\, Central Lake\, Bellaire\, and Elk Rapids. We invite all paddlers to get out on the water! \nPaddle Antrim encourage all ages and types of paddle crafts to join us on the water for these slow paddles. These paddles last approximately one hour on the water\, are free\, and no pre-registration is required.  All paddlers must bring their own craft/boat\, paddle\, and pfd (life jacket). As with all Paddle Antrim events\, pfds must be properly worn at all times. All ages are welcome but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult out on the water.
