DESCRIPTION:Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) presents Ravel’s Tzigane | Gypsy Violin \nThe Thursday\, July 18 concert will be an evening filled with high-energy music of Roma (Gypsies) from the Mediterranean and Balkan vibrant cultures. Featured will be internationally acclaimed Balkan violinist Robert Lakatos from Serbia performing Ravel’s Tzigane\, Sarasate’s Caprice Basque and more on his private collection violin of Antonio Stradivari from 1709. \nMr. Lakatos is one of the most promising young artists of his generation and the GLCO is thrilled to bring him to the northern Michigan audiences. \nThe concert will take place at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor\, Petoskey on Thursday\, July 18th at 7 PM.
