SUMMARY:GLCO presents Drumheads percussion ensemble
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the many sounds of percussion with The Drumheads ensemble from the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra.  The free concert\, part of the GLCO’s Sunday Series\, will take place at 4 PM on Sunday March 3rd at the First Congregational Church\, 101 State St. in Charlevoix. Tim Mocny\, Bob Sagan\, and Ken Yagiela will perform favorites\, reimagined classics\, video game music and more in creative percussion arrangements with drums\, glockenspiel\, marimba\, cymbals\, and “found” instruments\, to name a few.  There is something for everyone and all ages in this dynamic performance. The free of charge Sunday Series recitals are made possible through the generous support of Carolyn Klender. The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is a nonprofit professional orchestra headquartered at 219 E. Lake St.\, Petoskey. For more information\, visit www.glcorchestra.org or call 231-487-0010.
